One thing I am obsessed with more than any piece of clothing is beauty. My skincare routine is pretty basic because I have rosacea and THE most sensitive skin on the planet (think baby detergent sensitive).
Here are my 6 daily products I can’t live without:
We have all heard our moms and dermatologists preach about wearing sunscreen daily, but until my late 20s, I did not fully jump on board. I thought it was way too thick and left a really bad white cast under makeup.
I have tried them ALL to find this one. It is clear, has great UV protection, and most of all, my ultrasensitive skin does not flare up due to it!
My first signs of aging were fine lines around my eyes, so I knew I wanted something to help treat them and keep them at bay. This eye serum is wonderful. Not only is it a gel (great for sensitive eyes), but it has marine collagen, so it is actually repairing the skin barrier while being good for your skin!
Pixi Eye Patches
I have dark circles. And puffiness. Pop these guys under your eyes for 30 minutes to an hour, and you’ll look like you actually slept all night.
There are several different versions of the Pixi patches, but these are my favorite gel patches! Keep them in the fridge for added anti-puffing effect!
Ice Roller
Right back to the anti-puffing: if I eat sushi or have a couple of glasses of wine, the next morning my face will look like a balloon. Along with the Pixi patches, I will pop this ice roller out of the freezer and roll my face in upward motions (think- lifting your face to prevent sagging) and feel like a human again shortly after. It is so affordable and easy to do while drinking coffee or getting ready for the day!
Micellar Water and Moisturizer
When I say that I have tried almost everything in these two categories, I meant it. From age 14 on, I have been trying to find things that will treat my acne without flaring up the redness to 100.
I use this micellar water in place of a toner, which also acts as a makeup remover and is a good way to make sure all your makeup is off your face before moisturizing. It is the only thing I have found that does not make my skin red and bumpy.
Vanicream Moisturizer
This moisturizer is wonderful. There is no scent, making it good for sensitive skin; plus, an added bonus is that you can use it all over as a body lotion, leaving your skin so soft and clean! This brand also has a very good line of other products, and I use their sunscreen while I am outside for my body as well!
